Welcome to Sí Are you planning a trip to Spain or South America? Want to know more about the culture or become more independent on your travels? Perhaps you are simply interested in learning a beautiful language! Whatever your motivation you've come to the right place. If you speak Spanish, you can communicate with over 400 million people worldwide! Spanish is the second most used language in international communication. The Hispanic population in the USA has grown by 60% in just one decade and there are now over 40 million Hispanics living in the United States. Latin influences have an increasingly profound impact on global culture - music, architecture, art, cuisine and literature. Who hasn't danced to Salsa, marvelled at Salvador Dali's paintings or tasted a beautiful paella?
One of the first steps for understanding any culture is always understanding the language. Being able to talk to people directly is a unique and rewarding experience. At the Spanish Language Institute we've made it our mission to introduce anyone who is interested to Spanish and Latin American culture, and enable our students to experience it themselves through learning Spanish. Our entry level courses "Spanish for Tourists" and "Beginners Spanish 1" (click here for a podcast of the 1st class) represent an ideal starting point to learn Spanish. For those who already have previous knowledge of Spanish we offer conversation classes ("Conversational Spanish") at all levels to maintain and build your command of the language. We will help you find the right class based on your current knoweldge of Spanish and your learning objectives. Please contact us if you would like to find out which class is best for you. All classes are held in small groups and our teaching focus is on conversations rather than grammar. We also offer private lessons, tutoring, corporate teaching, language consulting services or intensive language classes.
